Being tracked in our daily movements these days is not as unusual as it used to be. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, people have become accustomed to checking in wherever they go and having a traceable route that shows their actions and the places they have visited. The need to quarantine and to be aware of possible contact from other confirmed covid cases makes this a necessary activity but has a positive effect in minimizing the spread of the disease.
People are required to make the effort to correctly track their actions by using scanning codes or by writing their details on tracking sheets so that they can be informed if an outbreak had occurred at a place where they had been.
This illustration shows people-tracking via GPS systems that provide information of where people are located at any given time. The familiar Google Maps symbol indicates the location of the person.
