Just like retro, grunge design has been rapidly gaining popularity again. With their rough, scratched, and sometimes cracked textures, they’re a lot more real in their nature than shiny and glossy textures. And although they seem harsh, there’s a surprising amount of brightness and optimism that portrays when these designs are used correctly.
These 12 seamless grunge patterns from Peter Olexa were designed using real-life textures that were graphically edited to create an urban dirty feel. Many of them are light, and work well as a background to text. They are available for free download as JPG images or in a PAT file format.
